The Alan M. Bluestone Scholarship covers full tuition for a student to attend a full year of the Hagen Teen Intensive Sunday Acting Conservatory.
Established in memory of Alan M. Bluestone, a cherished member of the HB community, this scholarship is intended to encourage a young person’s interest in theater and lend critical support to emerging talent. A professional stage manager, Alan understood all aspects of the theater and shared with infectious enthusiasm his love and appreciation for its literature. Support is offered for a student to attend a full year (3 terms) of the Hagen Teen Intensive program free of charge.

ABOUT THE HAGEN TEEN INTENSIVE:
A three-term Sunday Acting Conservatory for Teens
Taught by: Trudy Steibl (Acting), Martha Bernard (Singing & Alexander Technique), Adona Butler (Speaking Voice)
Sundays, 12:30pm – 4pm | Reg. price: $650 per term | Scholarship covers all three terms:
Fall Term: September 15 – November 17, 2019
Winter Term: January 12 – March 15, 2020
Spring Term: March 22 – May 31, 2020 (no class April 26)
For young people who are serious about the theater, this Sunday conservatory invites you to fall in love with the actor’s process. Each term has a different focus and may be taken separately or in sequence. Movement, Voice, and Acting Technique are integral to the program.
