Joy Equity: Accessibility and Art

A discussion of the short films CODA, REVEL IN YOUR BODY & THE MILKY POP KID with CODA actors CJ Jones and Ryan Lane

About this Event

HB Studio is pleased to partner with ReelAbilities Film Festival for a moderated, thought-provoking discussion on accessibility and the performing arts and the three short films CODA, REVEL IN YOUR BODY & THE MILKY POP KID.

Through this public forum, and beyond it, HB invites our community to consider how we build joy equity through raised consciousness and an informed and creative approach to accessibility and inclusion. Please join us!

Please watch the short films in advance of your attendance. Those that RSVP will receive a follow-up email with instructions on how to view the films.

Guests include CODA actors CJ Jones and Ryan Lane, and Yaara Kedem, ReelAbilities Film Festival NY Associate Director/International Director. The discussion will be co-moderated by Desmond Holliday and HB teaching artist Magaly Colimon-Christopher.

This event will include closed captioning and an ASL translator.
