The Artist and the Earth: Our Role in Confronting Climate Change

The Artist and the Eart Event Promo

An HB Public Conversation with Artists and Climate Activists Tim Guinee and Amanda Quaid

Artists and climate activists Tim Guinee and Amanda Quaid will host a presentation and discussion on the climate crisis amid the pandemic and the artist’s role in confronting it.

Tim Guinee and Amanda Quaid are both leaders in former Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. Tim Guinee is also the founder of the Climate Actors which empowers actors to be catalysts in the fight against climate change.

We pick back up from our previously held climate discussions to consider how to reframe our thinking and behavior around the global climate crisis as we transition from shutdown to working again in spaces. How has the pandemic affected the climate crisis and where does that leave us? What steps can we take as individuals and as artists to aggressively respond to this crisis in a post-pandemic world?

Join us! The discussion will be followed by an open Q&A with the audience.
