11AM – 4PM | $195 |
Audits: $30 each day. To audit, please call: (212) 675-2370 x1

Jane Streeton, Coordinator of the Singing Team and Course Leader for the Musical Theatre Courses at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, will offer this two-day intensive for singing actors (and acting singers). This features techniques from Jane’s book Singing on Stage: An Actor’s Guide (June, 2014), nominated for ‘Outstanding Book of the Year Award for Theatre and Higher Education’ (ATHE) and also named in the ‘Top 7 Training Books of 2014’ by ‘The Stage’. Jane will work with students individually in a master class setting for two sessions, such that the individual receiving feedback and those observing, both gain from the advice being provided. Students should fully prepare 2 songs, of which one will be chosen to work on during each session class. Each student must bring good, clear copies of the sheet music for the accompanist to play.

Ms. Streeton is an international soprano soloist in opera and concert and has worked as a singing coach and vocal advisor for film, with the BBC, in West End musicals, at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and Shakespeare’s Globe.

An accompanist will be provided.

Singing on Stage An Actor’s Guide is available for purchase at the registration office.
