Pop That Frame: Acting on Camera

Finding that place where Rhythm and Text meet

Presented by: Portia

This class ignites the actor’s ability to unlock the physical and psychological life of the character in front of the camera through the use of music and movement. By gathering specific information from the text/material, you create a character playlist specific to the project you are working on that will be used in class to free your instrument, enable you learn to score the script, activate listening and allow you to dance inside the camera frame — leading to strong, bold, unique choices that excite and POP.

Please come prepared to move and sweat: bring water, snack, a towel, and movement clothes to wear.

* Please kindly note, there is no class on August 5th
