Over the course of 5 weeks, Taylor “Sharky” Williams (Casting Associate, New York Theater Workshop) will give you an inside look at what happens in the audition room and what should happen outside of the audition room. The class will involve a crash-course on the basics and then delve deep into the process of picking material and working on audition material. You will learn how to deal with adjustments in the room and how to work on notes for a callback situation. Through a series of exercises, you will be encouraged and have the freedom to make bold and exciting choices.
Note **There will be no session held on Jan. 30th — A makeup date has been set for Feb. 13th. from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm.
The workshop will take place at the Playwrights Theatre, 124 Bank Street, on Feb. 13th, please plan accordingly.
