Student IDs
Registered students may request an HB Studio Identification card, which may be used for student discounts at participating vendors, partners, shows, and at HB Studio events. Student offers are announced on our 2nd-floor bulletin board and through our email Weekly Notice.
Transcripts
Students may request an HB Studio Official Transcript from the registration office by purchasing one directly online and then emailing the request to the Registration Office with all of your current contact information, including your date of birth, current and/or previous legal name/s, and the addresses of all transcript recipients. An initial transcript fee of $25 is charged for the printing of two official transcripts to be sent anywhere in the United States. A digital PDF version is also sent to the student. After the two copies, if a student requires another transcript, a $10 fee will apply per transcript within the year of the initial purchase. Students are responsible for any international mailing costs outside of the United States. Transcripts take approximately one month to process.

Life in New York City
New York City is one of the globe’s most vibrant cultural epicenters. Diverse and teeming with energy, life in New York City is a stimulating, rich experience. NYC boasts art museums that rival the best in the world; theatre to take in every night of the week; nightlife that will keep you dancing into the early morning; rock concerts, symphonies and operas; beautiful parks and gardens; and delectable food from around the world. For those on a tight budget, NYC has plenty to do for free or on the cheap–check out the Museum of Modern Art free of charge on Friday evenings, snag an inexpensive student-rush ticket to an off-Broadway show, or take a walk along the Highline Park on a Spring afternoon. With so much going on, it is impossible to do it all–but with public transportation running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can always try!
For performers and artists, New York City is the place to come to be inspired–with so many opportunities to create art, meet fellow collaborators, audition, perform, and play, the city will motivate and energize you to diligently pursue your dreams and aspirations.
