In-Person Class Offerings
HB Studio offers a series of in-person classes and special-focus workshops. Build your own schedule of studio classes and workshops. Classes are offered at Levels 1, 2, 3, and Studio Practice. Learn more about level placement.
In-person classes run for 10-weeks (1 session per week). (Some exceptions apply). Our current in-person offerings include:

Requirements for Taking In-Person Classes
Students taking in-person classes must review and comply with our Covid-19 Exposure Prevention Policy.*

Vaccinations
We encourage you to stay up to date with your Covid-19 vaccinations, but it is no longer required as of Fall Term 2023.
Pre-registration
Pre-registration for all in-studio classes is required no later than 24-hours before the first session of class begins. Registration for all online and in-person classes will take place online.
On-site protocols
The doors to the studio will be open for check-in 30 minutes before the time your class starts and will remain open 15 minutes after your class starts. Please do not arrive any earlier than 30 minutes before class. Those who arrive more than 15 minutes past the start of class time will not be admitted to the building.
HB Studio encourages (but no longer requires) students to be masked when on the premises at HB Studio, except when presenting or performing work in class.
Students, faculty, and staff will be required to complete health screenings for symptoms before entering the buildings each day.
Props and equipment that are used will be required to be cleaned immediately after use by those that use them.

Audits & Registration Policies
Audits of in-person classes are not offered at this time. We offer the opportunity for new and existing students to audit online classes in order to observe the instructor’s teaching style and the culture of the class before making the commitment to register.
We do not accept refunds, credits, withdrawals, or transfers after 24 hours before the first class, except in the case of serious illness or withdrawal for military service. Please take a moment to review HB Studio’s registration policies.
Financial Aid Available
HB Studio is committed to providing access to those with financial challenges. For artists that demonstrate talent and commitment but lack the means to study, HB Studio offers two types of financial aid opportunities: scholarships and work study.
