Singing for the Musical Theater – Studio Practice

To be held in-person at the Studio: 

A class designed for actors who want to become better singers and singers who want to become better actors. The primary goal is to build your confidence and strengthen your voice as an artist. This confidence will be grounded by a technique for text analysis that applies equally to prose, poetry and song lyrics. Singing will feel as free and true as speaking, if not more so.

An accompanist will be provided.

SINGING FOR THE MUSICAL THEATER – STUDIO PRACTICE INSTRUCTOR:
Stephen DeRosa  is best known for playing the Baker in the Broadway revival of INTO THE WOODS and Eddie Cantor on HBO’s BOARDWALK EMPIRE.
