Singing for the Musical Theater – Studio Practice

All classes will be held online via Zoom until we are able to resume classes at the Studio.

A class designed for actors who want to become better singers and singers who want to become better actors. The primary goal is to build your confidence and strengthen your voice as an artist. This confidence will be grounded by a technique for text analysis that applies equally to prose, poetry and song lyrics. Singing will feel as free and true as speaking, if not more so.

Before the first class, you will be asked to provide sheet music of a musical theater song of your choice. An accompanist will then create a piano track for you to sing with in class.
