Getting Back to One

Through rigorous practice and exploration designed to enrich the actor’s wellbeing, you will explore multi-sensory approaches for developing a practice of preparation and post-performance self-care. We will use The Feldenkrais Method and other multi-sensory modalities to learn different strategies for shifting out of the conditioned psychophysical and emotional connections developed throughout life and when building a character, and into your self-identified optimal, life-affirming self – your ONE. The employment of movement, visualization, and breathing exercises helps you to feel and change habitual patterns, allowing you to recharge your mind/body, and rejuvenate your creative energy.
Suggested dress: comfortable loose clothing.
