Paul Pryce won two major awards for his original television series SERPENTS MOUTH at the Caribbean Tales Incubator Film Lab, ‘The Big Pitch,’ at the Toronto International Film Festival. Pryce’s pitch for SERPENTS MOUTH was voted Best Pitch by a panel of judges and received the People’s Choice Award from an audience of media and industry professionals at the event.

Laura Esterman returns to HB teaching a new Scene-Study – Studio Practice class on Monday afternoons.  Laura won Best Actress Awards for her film CAN HITLER HAPPEN HERE at both the Brooklyn & Chelsea Film Festivals.

Jessica Hecht returns teaching another new Scene-Study – Studio Practice class on Thursdays after an extensive Broadway tour.

Rasa Allan Kazlas  returns to HB after a year long hiatus while she created and directed ETCHED IN AMBER, a play based on Lithuanian poetry in Vilnius and Kaunas and continues to perform and develop SAND & SILENCE, a solo work about her experiences while performing in the Middle East, in Saudi Arabia, Israel, Iran and Afghanistan. She will be teaching a Acting Improvisation Wednesday evenings.

Snezhana Chernova appears in URAVNENIE produced by the Theater of Russian Actors (TRACT) at Ripley-Grier Studios on June 28, 2018. Austin Pendleton appears in Nina Kethevan’s DRESS OF FIRE at 13th Street Repertory Theatre, April 19 – 29, 2018.

Maria Fontanals appeared in SEIS, directed by Pablo Andrade, as part of Teatro Circulo’s CallBack Series. In Spanish with English supertitles. SEIS has received FUERZAfest2017’s Best Playwright, Best Play, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Actor Awards; three 2017 HOLA Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Directing, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor, and Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor; and two ATI Awards for best Actress and Director Revelation of the Year. April 6 – 15, 2018.

Carol Rosenfeld appeared in two one-act plays, WILD TERRAIN and PEOPLE OF THE BOOK by Adam Kraar at the Play Group Theater, 1 North Broadway, White Plains, NY April 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2018.

Mercedes Ruehl will perform on Broadway in TORCH SONG TRILOGY this October 2018, when the Second Stage Theater production transfers to Hayes Theater.

Rasa Allan Kazlas leaves for Lithuania on March 19, 2018 to create and direct ETCHED IN AMBER. She will cast six actors for this tapestry of Lithuanian poetry brought to life in play form. The performances will take place in May in two prominent theaters in the largest cities, Vilnius and Kaunas, with possibilities of further performances throughout the country.

Christian Kelly-Sordelet is fight director for ROMEO AND JULIET at the Liceu opera house in Barcelona. Opening was February 14, 2018.

Craig Dolezel received Seattle Theater Critics Circle’s 2017 Gypsy Rose Lee Award for “Excellence in Performance in a Play as a Lead Actor” for his work in (IM)PULSE.

Vincent Pastore appears in the season premiere of HAWAII FIVE-0 on CBS.

Marsha Mason appears Classic Stage Co.’s production of Terrence McNally’s FIRE AND AIR, through March 1, 2018.

Laura Esterman received “Best Actress” at the Chelsea Film Festival, Fall 2017, for her portrayal of an eccentric artist in CAN HITLER HAPPEN HERE?. She will also appear in David Rabe’s play GOOD FOR OTTO at the New Group and later in Ain Gordon’s play 217 BOXES, both this Spring.

David Deblinger appears in ABC’s DECEPTION, starting January 9, 2018. He will also be appearing in the world premiere of DIVINE HORSEMAN, with David Zayas and Paul Calderon, January 10-27, 2018.
