Fran Kirmser is a Tony Award winning Producer, Author and Educator. Broadway Credits include BOB FOSSE’S DANCIN’, AUGUST WILSON’S RADIO GOLF, HAIR, GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF, and a sports series for stage Fran conceived and produced including LOMBARDI, MAGIC/BIRD, BRONX BOMBERS. She serves as Executive Producer for the feature film LOMBARDI with Legendary Pictures based on the play. She teaches and lectures on the business of the arts across the country in programs at Ailey/Fordham and James Madison University, New York University/Tisch, Columbia University, CSU-Fullerton, Kansas State University, University of Georgia, University of Oregon, The New School, and Commercial Theater Institute among others. Fran has served on funding panels including New York Foundation for the Arts and is the author of A LIFE IN DANCE. She served as a Tony Voter from 2013 to 2020. Having started her performing arts career as a professional dancer and self-produced choreographer, her passion is teaching self-producing and fundraising to emerging artists to help them realize their projects to stage! She holds two Executive Certificates in Business Law and Finance from Cornell University.
