Luis Vega

Luis Vega is an actor, writer, and educator based in Brooklyn, NY. Over a 20-year career as an actor he has worked in theater, film, tv, commercials, and voiceovers. Luis has taught Acting Technique and Scene Study at both UCSD and the New York Film Academy. His first original play THE LAST BARNSTORM won Teatro Vivo’s Austin Latino New Play Festival in 2017. Luis is an Associate Artist with Fault Line Theatre and holds a BA in English from Columbia University as well as an MFA in Acting from UCSD. Other teachers Luis has studied under include William Esper (Meisner Technique), Kristin Linklater (Shakespeare), Austin Pendleton (Scene Study), and Bob Krakower (On Camera Technique). “
