Dark Rapture was performed June 10th – 27th

Synopsis:  This play takes place in many cities in the United States including, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Santa Barbara, and many others. Escaping from the ‘perfect’ life, Ray fakes his death by setting his own house in Los Angeles on fire and faking his identity in different cities in order to start a new beginning. His wife, Julia goes along with the secret scheme by pretending as if he’s dead and is now dealing with several economic issues as a result of his faked death and the burning of their house. Two men, Vegas and Lexington are in the search of five million dollars that Julia and her husband owe and so, they embark into an investigation trying to find Ray in the many different cities where he could be possibly hiding.

Synopsis: Eleanor and her husband, Herb, go on a cruise to Alaska as their 40 year anniversary celebration. Eleanor faces an internal struggle while having to deal with her husband that dumps all of his issues on her, leaving Eleanor no time to relax or be at peace.

Synopsis:

A long lost son named Eric finds his mother, Cindy. While unsettled, she has conversations of her troubled past to share with her son. With the son’s musical talents, they bond through music. From this point on, they continue to dig through Cindy’s past and her sculptures.

Moral Imperative was performed October 18th – 19th, 2010

Synopsis: Seth and Robert are academics who are convinced that their beloved Briarton University will just go straight to hell if it’s allowed to remain under the stewardship of their despised University President, Oscar. It doesn’t help matters that the Trustees passed over Seth and gave the presidency to Oscar, who wants to abolish faculty tenures as his first order of business. Robert and Seth love the world-class institution where they are employed. They feel a moral imperative to remove Oscar and plan to take steps to accomplish their aim. Pauline, a police detective, has other ideas about the actions of Seth and Robert, and their motives. Will Seth and Robert be able to pull off their scheme?

Synopsis: Bury the Dead is an expressionist and anti-war drama by the American playwright, Irwin Shaw. It dramatizes the refusal of six dead soldiers during an unspecified war—who represent a cross-section of American society—to be buried.

Synopsis: The Wars of the Roses was a 1963 theatrical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s first historical tetralogy, which deals with the conflict between the House of Lancaster and the House of York over the throne of England.

What Happens Next: An Evening of One Act Plays was performed on October 12 – October 30, 2012.

Synopsis:

Three one-act plays in an SNL style with 2-4 actors performing each story. Overnight is the first act where two best friends talk about their feelings for eachother and reminiscing about her ex. The second act that follows is Always which focuses on an elderly woman who meets the ghost of her father going down their own memory lane to prove the point of the ghost. The last act is The Game where we follow two sisters getting ready for a game night with their friends while they gossiping.
